1) The number of subcribers of cellular telephones in Malaysia has increased by about 750,000 in 4 years time.
2) The number of subscribers in Malaysia has increased from about 100,000 in 1991 to about 850,000 in 1995
3) The number of subscribers of cellular telephones in Malaysia has increased from 1991-1995
Possible Reasons:
1) it is more convenient using a handset, can bring it anywhere
2) allow people to remain in contact when travelling
3) It has the potential for various kinds of data communication application, eg internet, SMS, etc
